BotCommerce’s Live Chat is an essential tool for enhancing interactions with subscribers and efficiently managing conversations. This tutorial is designed to guide you through the key features of live chat, from accessing the interface and searching for subscribers and messages to assigning messages and using notifications.
You will learn how to customize the user experience, interact with subscribers in real time, and manage team communication professionally. With these features, you can optimize every aspect of customer service and strengthen engagement on your messaging channels.
Access Live Chat
Go to the BotCommerce navigation menu.
Click on the Live Chat option to open the live chat interface.
Use the Search Box to find subscribers by typing their names.
Similarly, search for specific messages within the chat window.
Enable/Disable Notifications
Click on the Notification Icon to enable or disable sound alerts for new messages.
Keeping notifications enabled ensures you never miss a message.
Use the Reload Option to refresh the live chat interface.
Click on the Mark As option to mark messages as read, unread, archived, or unarchived. Example: Mark a conversation as unread to change its status.
Switch Between WhatsApp Bot Accounts
If multiple WhatsApp bot accounts are connected, use the Drop-Down List to select the desired account.
Interact with Subscribers
Select a user from the Subscribers List to start replying or monitoring the bot conversation.
Send bot or message templates by clicking on the Robot Icon and choosing the template.
Perform Subscriber Actions
Unsubscribe a user, pause the bot’s replies, or reset their input flow.
Assign messages to team members from the Assigned Agent drop-down list.
Add Labels, Sequences, and Notes
Add labels and sequences to conversations.
Write notes for your team and save the updates.
Check if the subscriber has unsubscribed, if the bot reply is on or off, and if they are within the 24-hour window.
Sort messages by assigned, unread, and archived tabs.
Create Team Members
From the dashboard, go to User and Team.
Click on Create.
Fill in the name, email, password, and role as a team member.
Select the bot accounts and e-commerce stores for permissions.
Click on Create to finalize.
