A red screen might look something like this:

This happens because certain domains are flagged by Google’s search engine as potential risks. To resolve this, follow these steps.

Register your domain on Google Search Console #

1. If you don’t have a Google account yet, create one and authorize it in Google Search Console.
2. Register the domain in the console. To do this, in the upper left corner click on Search property → Add property.
3. You will have a choice of the type of property to add. Choose the one on the left (Domain).
4. Enter your domain and click Continue.

5. A pop-up window will appear. The most important thing you need from it is the verification code. Copy it and do not close this tab.

6. Open a new browser tab and access your domain’s DNS zone to create a TXT record. Here, you’ll need the verification code given by Google Search Console.

DNS record type: TXT
Name: @
TXT value: paste the value that you copied at Google Search Console
TTL: leave the default value

7. After a few minutes, return to Google Search Console and click Verify.

You may see this window with the following message:

This means the added record simply did not have enough time to get propagated. To check the current status of the propagation, you can go to DNS Checker and insert the data this way:

As soon as you see that all the map is covered with checkmarks (it might take a day or two), it will mean that you can go back to the Google Search Console and click Verify again. The result should be like this:

Submit a review request #

1.  After registration, which may take a day or two, you need to submit a review request for any issues listed by Google Search Console. To do this, open Google Search Console. Click Go to Property and then Open Report.

2. Click Request Review.

3. Tick on All Issues Were Fixed. In the text box to explain what you did, send the following message:

“I have reviewed our site and have addressed some issues. However, it’s important to mention that the site is used to manage multiple social networks in one place under user authorization, and their data is protected.”

Usually, it will take 3 to 4 days for Google to review the request. Since the warning “Deceptive Site Ahead” is issued by Google, you will need to wait until the process is done.
