PayU is a leading payment gateway trusted worldwide for its security, flexibility, and support for multiple currencies. By integrating PayU into your white-label platform, you can offer your users a seamless and secure payment experience, boosting their confidence in your services. In this tutorial, we’ll guide you step-by-step to set up PayU as a payment method.
Open your white-label platform and login into your admin account. Once inside, go to Settings > Payment configuration. Look for the PayU module.
As you can see, you need to provide your Merchant ID and Salt. To obtain them, visit PayU’s website and log in using your credentials. If you don’t have an account, sign up and complete the required merchant setup process.
After logging in, navigate to the Dashboard. Go to Manage Account > My Account. Here, you’ll find your Merchant ID and Key/Salt Pair. The Merchant ID is a unique identifier for your business. The Salt is used to encrypt your transactions securely.
Copy them, and paste them in the corresponding fields of your platform.
Finally, enable One-time payments and/or Recurring payments.
Click on the Save button at the bottom of the page to keep your changes.
Confirm the integration. Your customers should now be able to find PayU listed as a payment method. You can purchase a plan to check that everything was integrated correctly.
