Better yet, you can automatically push your WhatsApp subscribers back into Google Contacts, keeping your databases perfectly in sync.

This tutorial will walk you through everything: connecting your Google account, importing WhatsApp subscribers from Google Contacts, and exporting them back to Google—so you can automate smarter, faster, and better.

Connect Your Google Account to BotCommerce

Go to Settings and connect your Google account. From your BotCommerce dashboard, navigate to Settings → Google Sheets Integration and click on Sign in with Google.

Allow access to BotCommerce. Select your Google account, click Continue, and grant all requested permissions. This will authorize BotCommerce to sync with your Google Contacts.

Import WhatsApp Subscribers from Google Contacts

Open the WhatsApp Subscriber Manager. Go to Subscriber Manager → WhatsApp Subscribers to access your WhatsApp contact list.

Click on “Import Subscribers”. Choose the option to import subscribers.

Select Google Contacts as your source. Pick the Google account you previously connected, then choose the WhatsApp bot account where these subscribers will be added.

Label your imported subscribers. Create or select a label to tag your new subscribers (e.g., “Google Leads”) for easier targeting later.

Confirm your import. Double-check your sample data, then click Confirm to complete the import process. Your Google Contacts are now WhatsApp subscribers in BotCommerce.

Export WhatsApp Subscribers to Google Contacts

Enable automatic contact sync in the Bot Manager. Go to Bot Manager → Configuration of your WhatsApp bot.

Select your Google account under “Google Contacts”. Once selected, BotCommerce will automatically send each new subscriber’s name and phone number to your Google Contacts.

That’s it! From now on, your WhatsApp contacts will be backed up in your Google account—no manual entry needed.
